Our full training day will start with teaching and enhancing your knowledge on the principles and background to aesthetic medicine.

How to assess a patients face properly and how to confidently advise a treatment plan.

Theory on facial anatomy, aesthetic complications and running an aesthetic business is covered so you feel comfortable with all areas of starting your journey.

Hands-on live model practice sessions is when you will really get a feel for the industry treatments. You will get experience on preparing a patient for treatment, doing a treatment and ensuring appropriate aftercare and documentation is completed.

Botulinum toxin- Hyperhydrosis, Gummy smile, Masseters, Mentalis (chin), DAO (downturn mouth)
Dermal filler- Cheekbone filler- midface volume and contour cheekbone

Models

Delegates MUST provide their own models for treatment during the course. We are unable to provide a model unless clarified before signing up to the course.

At the Dr Bonny Academy, each delegate performs the full treatments on the day (no shared models) to ensure maximum exposure and competence. If you have any questions about models and what treatments they are expected to have – please email the clinic directly.

Model costs on the day:

Every model will receive complimentary dermal filler treatment with no additional fee. Botulinum toxin treatments on models will cost £25 per area treated (due to the prescriptive nature of the drug.) there will be an option to treat models with saline instead of botulinum toxin as no added cost on the day.

We want to make you feel confident with a patient, confident with a needle, confident in yourself!

We provide mannequin training and then further hands-on and 1-2-1 training within the academy!

Course FAQs

Who can train with us?

You must be a medical professional in order to attend our course. We accept doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, dentists.

If you are unsure if you are an appropriate trainee- please send us an email prior to booking, as a full refund cannot be guaranteed due to online payment charges if booked incorrectly.

I am not a prescriber – can I take your course?

Yes – you can be a non-prescriber and do our course, however to provide a botulinum toxin treatment in your own clinic, you will need a prescriber.

Do you train UK/ROI/International delegates

Yes- we are able to provide training to any of the specified medical professionals from around the world. Although every country has its own rules and regulations regarding aesthetic medicine and it may be useful to check if you are allowed to practice in your country prior to taking the course with us.

I have booked my course online with you – now what do I need to do?

Oh we are so delighted. Please await your confirmation email which will have some pre-course instructions and details in order to get yourself ready for the day. We aim to get this out to you within 3-5 days.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

The payable fee for your desired course is non refundable. However we do understand that circumstances may change unexpectedly. We are able to offer a transfer or change of course date with 14days notice.
